The Kodak Professional HC-110 Developer is a liquid concentrate rapid developer for use with black and white negative film. It can be diluted directly from concentrate or from a 1:3 stock solution and used one-shot, disposed of after each use, or reused with HC-110 Replenisher. HC-110’s characteristics include moderately fine grain, full shadow detail, a long density scale, wide development latitude, and no loss of film speed. Ilford Ilfostop is a low odor acid stop bath. Normally, when development is completed, films and papers are subjected to a stop bath rinse. This immediately halts the developing process by neutralizing the developer.

Following this, the film or print is exposed to fixer (hypo). The advantage of the stop bath process is that it extends the life of the fixer. Some people do not use stop bath and, in that case, you must use an inordinate amount of fixer to erase the effects of the developer. If a stop bath is not available or chosen, the film or print should be thoroughly soaked in a water bath or rinse – with frequent changing of the water supply. Stop bath gives you the assurance that your developing stage is completely “over” and that none of the developer will be carried over to the fixer.

Ilfostop contains an indicator dye that is pH sensitive and changes color from yellow to purple as the stop bath becomes exhausted. It is specifically recommended for dish and tray processing of paper or deep tank processing of film.

It should be noted that Ilford recommends that gloves, eye protection, apron or overall be worn when handling and mixing all chemicals.

Note: Never let developer become contaminated with a stop bath solution

Ilfostop concentrate will keep for 5 years in full airtight bottles and 12 months in half full tightly capped bottles

It will stay fresh as a working solution for 7 days

500ml will make 10 liters of working solution

A full working strength solution will produce 150 135-36 or 120 films or 600 20.3×25.4cm (8×10″) RC prints or 300 20.3×25.4cm (8×10″) FB prints

Rapid Fixer is a non-hardening rapid fixer supplied as a liquid concentrate that is diluted with water for use. It is easy and convenient to use in the temperature range of 18-40ºC (66-104ºF) for fixing black and white film and paper in all manual and machine processing applications. The fixing agent in Rapid Fixer is ammonium thiosulphate, it contains no sodium thiosulphate (hypo).

Kodak D-76 Developer is a classic multi-use black & white film developer.

D-76 provides full emulsion speed and excellent shadow detail with normal contrast, and produces fine grain with a variety of continuous-tone black-and-white films.

Designed for convenience and ease of use, SIMPLICITY Stop Bath from Ilford is a pre-measured portion of ILFOSTOP liquid concentrate stop bath, delivered in a single-use sachet. Each sachet contains 30mL of chemistry, which is then mixed with 570mL of water (1+19 dilution) at temperature to create a 600mL working solution for processing one roll of 120 or two rolls of 35mm film in a two-reel, 600mL developing tank.

ILFOSTOP is a low odor, citric acid-based stop bath that stops the development process and helps to prolong the life and activity of the fixer solution. It is recommended to ensure accurate development times.
