Digitize up to 750 4×6” prints for as low as 16¢ per photo. Simply purchase a Photo Archive Box online or in-store, fill it with your prints, and drop it off at our Golden Valley location. Our team carefully scans each photo at its original size with 300 dpi resolution, saving the digital copies to a USB drive. And since all scanning is done in-house, your precious memories never leave our store.

Checklist & Tips

• Quantity of Prints:
  The Photo Archive Box holds up to 750 4×6” prints. Capacity varies by print size, and the box must close completely.
• Prepare Your Prints:
  Remove photos from albums, frames, and envelopes. Detach any tape, staples, or paper clips. Gently wipe prints to remove dust and debris for the best scan quality.
• Organize Your Prints:
  Group photos by size and format, and place them face up. We may re-stack your prints as needed for efficient scanning.
• Scanning & Storage:
  Each print is scanned at 300 dpi, preserving its original quality. Digital files are saved to a USB drive, with an archival DVD available upon request.
• Add-ons & Upgrades:
  Customize your order with additional options to fit your needs.
• Copyright Restrictions:
  Copyrighted photos require a signed release from the photographer and cannot be scanned without one.
• Service Time:
  Standard turnaround is two weeks. Extended times may apply during promotions, holidays, or for additional pricing estimates.

Special Handling 

An additional $1 per print charge applies to prints that require special handling:

This includes, but is not limited to, two-sided image scans, prints smaller than 2½x3½”, damaged or delicate prints, mounted prints, Polaroids, and prints with tape, glitter, or sticky residue.

Add-ons & Upgrades

Customize your order by adding services to the base Archive Box package:

• Resolution Upgrade: $30 per order
  Upgrade your scans to a 600 dpi resolution for enlargement-quality prints up to 2x the original print size.
• Scan Prints in Order: $30 per order
  Prints must be numbered and written directly on the back. We recommend using a fine-tip Sharpie or photo pen.
• Digital Folder: $2 per folder
  Photos must be grouped together by bags or banding only, and clearly labeled. Additional sorting services are not available.
• DVD Slide Show: $30
  Have a slide show created of your scanned images and burned onto a playable DVD for use in a standard DVD player. Additional service time will apply.
• Additional USB: $9.99 each
  Order duplicate USB copies to share with family and store backup copies in a safe place.
• Archival Data DVD: $9.99 each
  Add on archival DVDs for long-term file backup and storage.
• WeTransfer: Included with your fully paid order
  Opt in to receive a digital download link straight to your inbox via WeTransfer upon order pickup.
