Angel Iris Murphy Brown | Eddie Murphy’s Daughter

Imagine being the daughter of one of the greatest comedians of all time and a pop-culture sensation!  Eddie Murphy and Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, used to be some of the greatest power couples of Hollywood. They met in the year 2006 at a party and it felt like electricity. As the Spice Girl wrote in her memoir, “It was as if a 2,000-volt electric current had passed between us.” She even compared their love to poetry. Sadly, the relationship was short-lived.

In 2007 however, the comedian welcomed Angel Iris Murphy Brown, his eighth child and only one with  Mel B. Considering his rocky relationship with his former beau, Murphy, as well as the surprising revelation of him being the father, he continued to make an effort to enter his daughter’s life, spending every weekend together. Sure enough, he is an amazing dad to all his kids!
