How does it feel to have almost everything in life? To be specific: having parents who are Hollywood stars, equipped with the skillset of a director and a writer, not to mention possessing the agility and grace of a pro basketball player. That may seem like a fantasy dream for most of us, but for Malcolm Washington, it’s a reality.

Born to Denzel Washington and Paulette Washington, Malcolm had a Hollywood calling from the beginning. However, Washington also harnessed his athletic abilities by playing for Yale. During his senior year, he became team captain. After graduating, however, he chose to follow in his parents’ footsteps and turned to the entertainment industry to start his professional career. Of his notable worlds, Malcolm takes credit for directing the television series I, Too, and Dream America in 2018. Despite this, Malcolm remains a relatively private person who refuses to share much of his personal life with the media.
