Lorraine Nicholson | Jack Nicholson’s daughter

For the optimism-powered and adrenaline junkies, this movie might sound familiar to you: a rising child surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack. This is a true story based on the life of a young surf champion. If you didn’t know, the girl’s best friend was played by Lorraine Nicholson. Lorraine is the daughter of the three-time Academy Award winner and a twelve-time nominee Jack Nicholson.

Lorraine was born in 1990 and began to take an interest in writing and directing during her adolescence. Aside from acting, she also deserves credit for producing The Instant Message. This 15-minute coming-of-age short film was succeeded by Life Boat in 2017. In 2011 during her interview, Nicholson stated, “I love to act, and I also hope to one day write and direct and create my own projects.” The young actress/filmmaker also stated that she wanted to create more opportunities for herself and for other aspiring artists.
