Kristopher Van Varenberg | Jean-Claude Van Damme’s son

If you were born before 2000 and you’re a fan of martial arts movies, then there is a high probability that you are familiar with the movie Bloodsport. The film features Jean-Claude Van Damme, a Belgian-born actor, who plays Frank, a soldier who participates in a secret martial arts tournament.

The 90’s martial arts hero married Gladys Portugues, a former bodybuilder, actress, and now the mother of Jean-Claude’s son, Kristopher Julien Van Varenberg. Kristopher was born in May 1987. After attaining a degree in 2D animation in Vancouver, Canada, He moved to Los Angeles, where he resumed his career as an actor, director,  and writer for both film and animation. Being the son of a famous actor probably influenced Kristopher’s career choice. As an actor, he has appeared in movies such as Assassination Games, Derailed, and Soldier. He also produced Welcome to the Jungle.
