Chet Hanks | Tom Hanks’ Son

Chester Marlon Hanks, better known by his stage name Chet Hanx, is an actor and artist. He is best known for his recurrent performances on Empire and Shameless. As the son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson and Colin Hanks’ half-brother, he is a member of Hollywood royalty. In the Showtime legal drama miniseries Your Honor, Hanks played Joey Maldini. He is also recognized as a musician. In 2021, he dropped his viral song White Boy Summer.

Hanks’ acting career began in 2007 with the film Bratz, in which he played Dexter. In the early 2010s, he resumed his acting career with a succession of tiny film appearances. On the American version of Shameless, Hanks played Charlie, the father of Sierra Morton’s child, from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, he portrayed rapper Blake in the hip-hop drama Empire. He had a cameo in his father’s World War II film Greyhound in 2020.
