Usher was one of the most prominent R&B artists during the ‘90s and 2000s. He is a native of Texas but spent his formative years in Tennessee and Georgia, where he found his passion for music. Usher had an early start with his career, entering various music competitions during his teenage years. Eventually, in 1994, he would release his self-titled debut album, and by 2003, he had won two Grammy Awards for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance to his credit. By the 2000s, he had established himself to be one of the top-earning musicians amongst his peers.

Along with his triumphant rise to international fame, Usher had dozens of endorsement deals to come his way. And among which was his partnership with Mercedes-Benz. The R&B artist already expressed his love for German engineering in the past, even owning a Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG of his own.
